The aim of this series of modules is to demystify the products used by the treasury functions of banks to manage liquidity, raise long term funding and hedge risk – principally FX and Interest rate risk.
By utilizing a series of interactive exercises and the trainer’s extensive practical experience in this area, the webinars will seek to explain the terminology associated with each product, the applications of the product and how/where the products are executed and managed. Additionally, they will provide insight into how the price for each product is calculated and the risks associated with them.
The webinars will assume no prior knowledge in the area and thus will be equally useful to those new to treasury functions, wanting to gain a better understanding of the products they will be exposed to and to those working in over-lapping areas, such as finance, legal, operations, and compliance and front line sales roles.
