IOSH Managing Safely for the Oil & Gas Industry

• Session 1: Oil and gas Industry specific regulations (Safety Case and related regulations)
• Session 2: HSE Management Systems

Day 3

• Session 1: Risk Management and Control

Day 4

• Session 1: Accident Investigation & reporting / Lessons from oil & gas Industry accidents
• Session 2: Oil & Gas Specific Hazards/Safe Systems of Work

Day 5

• Session 1: Managing in Contract Environment, Performance Management, Monitoring and Competence Assurance
• Session 2: Environment & Waste Management

Course Assessment

Achievement of the objectives of the Managing Safely IOSH course will be assessed by:

• An objective (short answer) test
• A practical assessment in the workplace

IOSH Managing Safely in the Oil & Gas Industry certificates are issued by the examining body IOSH approximately least 8 weeks after the last day of the course ending including exams.
